In 1970, our company
was approached by the South Carolina Department of Natural
Resources to design and produce an offshore fishing reef buoy. We
devised a way to combine a Plastic Thermoformed ABS shell (the
same material used for telephones and football helmets) with 2
lb. density polyurethane foam. Our Figure 1 design was an
immediate success and provided an in-road to the regulatory buoy
industry.
We are proud of the services that we
have provided through the years to the U.S. Coast Guard, Navy,
Army Corps of Engineers, numerous state and private
organizations. We look forward to continuing our old
relationships as well as building and nurturing new ones. We were
founded on the concept of innovation and look forward to hearing
any new ideas or concepts that you may have in the development of
navigational aids.

Limited Warranty
Curd Enterprises, Inc. warrants our buoys and floats to be first quality when they are shipped to our customers. Proper installation of the product is necessary for the buoys to perform as good navigational aids. We warrant our product against faulty workmanship and materials. Should a Curd Buoy float or buoy fail, due to faulty workmanship or material, within twelve months of the purchase date, Curd Buoy will replace the buoy or float. Curd Enterprises, Inc. will not be responsible for mooring costs or other installation fees.
